Where can you play?
The current Steam listing supports Windows and macOS. A Steam purchase is for the computer release; do not treat it as access to a PlayStation or Nintendo version.
Steam: buying the game or trying the Demo
Use the official store listing to choose between the paid Early Access game and its Demo. Check the minimum and recommended system requirements for your own operating system before purchasing. The presence of Windows and macOS versions is not a promise that every computer can run them.
Is Shroom and Gloom on PS5?
We have not verified a PS5 release or a confirmed PS5 launch date in the official material reviewed for this guide. The Steam version does not answer that question. Wait for a platform-specific announcement or product listing before planning a PlayStation purchase.
Is Shroom and Gloom on Nintendo Switch?
We have not verified a Nintendo Switch release or launch date in the official material reviewed for this guide. Switch and Switch 2 should also be treated as distinct platforms: an announcement for one would need to name its supported hardware.
Before buying for your computer
Compare the operating system, processor, graphics hardware, memory and free storage in Steam’s requirements with your own machine. Check the operating-system tab as well: a Windows requirement does not establish Mac compatibility. The Demo can help you judge readability and performance on your setup before buying.
If you are looking at a handheld computer, separate the storefront from the hardware. A Steam listing alone does not establish controller support or a verified handheld experience. Look for the current device-specific compatibility information instead of assuming that a small Windows device and a Nintendo console are interchangeable.
Check the product you are about to buy
Confirm the game title, storefront and supported hardware together. A guide, trailer or search result can mention a console as a question rather than as an announced release. Follow the actual store listing for purchase decisions, and use our release page for the distinction between Early Access and 1.0.
