Where can you play Shroom and Gloom?
The Steam listing checked on October 18, 2026 supports Windows and macOS. These are the computer platforms for the released Early Access game. A Steam Deck runs the Steam product on different hardware; a Nintendo console would require a separate platform release.

Check the requirements for your computer
Use the operating-system tab that matches your machine. The current listing gives Windows a minimum of 8 GB RAM and macOS a minimum of 16 GB RAM; both list 13 GB of available storage. These figures are only part of the requirements, so check the processor, graphics hardware and operating system as well.
A Mac and a Windows machine with the same amount of memory are not automatically equivalent. The listing supplies different hardware requirements for each. Use the Demo to inspect readability and performance on the machine you will actually use, while remembering that trial and paid builds can differ.

Choose the paid release or the Steam Demo
The paid game is App ID 3271280 and the separate Demo is App ID 3602770. Open the main store listing and select the product you want to install. A guide that demonstrates the old prototype, the Demo or Early Access may show different menus, cards and available content.
The Demo is useful for trying the card and exploration loop. Do not assume that progress transfers to the paid game or that every Early Access feature has been added to the trial. The Demo guide explains what to check before switching products.
Steam Deck and controller support answer different questions
Valve’s current Deck report identifies graphics performance as the reason for an Unsupported rating. Early Access includes controller support, but working input does not by itself establish a verified handheld experience or a measured frame rate. The device-specific page keeps those facts together.

Is it on Nintendo Switch or Switch 2?
No Nintendo release date was found in the official material reviewed for this guide. The September 10, 2026 date belongs to the Steam Early Access release. The Switch page collects the current answer and explains why a computer controller feature should not be interpreted as a port.
What about PS5, Xbox or Android?
The checked computer listing is not an announcement for those platforms, and the reviewed official material supplies no corresponding release date. Before relying on a claimed port, check whether the developer, publisher or platform holder has actually named the hardware and described an available or planned release.
A search result can mention a console because someone asked about it. A store or trailer may also be outdated. Keep the product title, platform and announcement date together, then compare that information with the game you intend to buy.
