Choose the question you are trying to answer
A useful wiki helps you find the right level of detail. The first-run guide teaches the basic sequence, the card reference explains the pieces of a card, and the support pages handle a locked character or input problem. Start with the decision in front of you rather than reading every article in order.
This reference covers the Steam Early Access game. Older Demo notes are labelled where they help explain a difference. A card seen in a recording can have been modified, so a matching name alone is not enough to establish the cost or effect you will see now.

Look up a mechanic during a run
Combat and Explore cards serve different phases. When an effect surprises you, identify its action, condition and properties before comparing a damage number. A fatal food effect depends on the killing condition; an effect that draws cards can carry another cost. The card article uses pictured examples and a dated patch table to make those distinctions easier to find.
Food questions belong alongside the cards that create and use it. The Soup guide follows the connection between roasted enemies, recovery and cooking, without treating every older recipe or screenshot as a current universal rule.
Read Foresight alongside your character
The launch announcement gives each of the five characters a starting Combat deck, Explore deck and base Foresight. Read those parts together when choosing a character. A starting passive, a later reward and a quest unlock are different questions, even if all three can affect the direction of a run.
The Foresight reference separates that confirmed starting structure from historical Demo details. It is a way to interpret a kit, not a claim to list every Foresight or prove what persists across runs.
Resolve a specific character problem
Concerned Parent was included at launch, but an unlock bug affected some players. Patch 0.6.41 supplied a recovery step for those affected saves: complete the first run after the update, then check character selection. The focused article distinguishes that repair from the normal requirement a new player needs to meet.
A character being listed in the launch cast does not mean it is immediately selectable on a new save. Keep the displayed quest requirement, completion message and selectable result separate when checking progress.
Check the version before following setup advice
The Steam Demo and paid Early Access product are separate builds. The launch date describes the paid game, while a controller feature describes input and a Deck rating describes compatibility on particular hardware. The platform hub connects those answers so you do not have to infer one from another.
Use the release timeline to distinguish the playable September 10, 2026 launch from future 1.0 plans. If Nintendo Switch is your question, the dedicated status page keeps that answer separate from computer controls.
